The Gospels refer to this common\u00a0name almost six hundred times. Pick up a Septuagint Greek Old Testament and you will notice something more. The sixth book, commonly titled “Joshua” in English Bibles, carries the name \u1f38\u03b7\u03c3\u03bf\u1fe6\u03c2 (translated “Jesus” in the NT).
